The Tee clamp is used to downlead from main conductor, so Tee clamp is usually installed in midway of the main conductor which not interrupts the main transmission. It can be also used as terminal clamp in substation. There are various Tee clamps including bolted type and compression type, single conductor type and twin to single type. The down lead part can be a clamp for conductor or flat pad for equipment.
