The porcelain pin insulators are mostly used for distribution nerwork from 11kv -36kv. There are so many various design according to customers' requirement, ANSI 55 and 56 serious, and BS standard are the most popular and widely used.
The porcelain pin insulator shall be used together with steel pin, so that to install on pole top or crossarm. The distribution tie is an option accessory to fix the conductor tight on the top of pin insulator.
