The suspension polymer insuator is made by fiberglass rod, silicone rubber and end fittings. Similar to suspension porcelain insulator, the polymer insulator can be used for suspesnion and tension situation.
The obvious advantage of polymer insulator is light weight and not easy broken compare to porcelain material.
